ACNC REGISTERED CHARITY AND NON-FOR-PROFIT
In 2012, Sagar and Sean were working together at the University of Notre Dame Australia. Sagar had heard that Sean had taken a group of students on an immersion to Kenya to volunteer at a school and wanted to hear more about it. Sagar told Sean about these children in his hometown who had been supporting for the past 15 years and his desire of building a school for them.
For two years they planned and fundraised to take a group of students to India to visit the hostel he had started. They took a group of ten students to spend time with the children. They were so inspired by their time there, that Sean, Sagar and two students decided to start a charity to raise money to help support the children. 8 years later they have built a residential school and educate about 50 children.
We are dedicated to reversing the cycles of poverty and discrimination through education.
